I have been putting this off but I am going to have to cancel all piano lessons for this week. I have been having trouble with my wrists and hands for some time now. The doctor said it is a combination of arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. I've been following doctors orders as of a year ago and a couple months ago to use aleve, ice baths, a prescription cream, and braces at night, but at this point nothing has helped completely. The doctor said giving my hands a break for as long as possible would be helpful to see if we can put off surgery longer. For that reason I am going to wait until after Thanksgiving to resume lessons. I am so sorry to do this! I was really hoping for it to get a lot better over the weekend and this not be necessary! Please tell your child that they can still grab lots of practice points for the store on the Tonara app over the next 2 weeks and that they're welcome to communicate with me through it. They can focus on their Christmas books or continue with the regular method books. They can even record songs and send them to me. I am praying that I will be back to having fun with the kids in a couple weeks. I pray you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and stay healthy and happy!
